Cynghorydd Llafur yn cael ei feirniadu am “sylwadau afiach a dad-ddynol” – Labour councillor in Denbighshire shamed for “evil and de-humanisig comments”

Cafodd Gynghorydd Llafur, Bob Murray, ei gyfeirio at yr ombwdsman a cafodd ei atal o’r Blaid Lafur am wneud sylwadau “afiach a sarhaus” yn erbyn y Gymuned deithiol, dywedodd “bod hitler gyda’r syniad iawn” yn y ffordd yr oedd wedi ymdrin â nhw, ac os oedd unrhyw un gyda “canisterau nwy”.

Cafodd ei sylwadau ei gondemio gan gynghorwyr a mudiadau am fod yn rhai “ffiaidd” ac fel rhai oedd yn “dad-ddynoli”.

Atebodd Mr Murray i’r sylwadau yma gan ddweud fod ei gyfrif wedi gael ei hacio ac fod y sylwadau ddim yn adlewyrch pwy oedd o. Ychwanegodd gan ddweud fod ei “enw da” wedi ei farneisio ac ei fod o wedi siarad gyda’i gyfreithwr a’r Heddlu ynglyn a’r sefyllfa, gan bwysleisio “fyddai’n bendant byth yn deud y fath beth”

Mae Heddlu Gogledd Cymru wedi datgan eu bod hwythau’n ymchwilio mewn i’r sylwadau fel “posibiliad o drosedd casineb”.

Bob Murray, a Labour councillor in Denbighshire has been refereed to the ombudsman and suspended from the Labour party for comments made against the travelling community which claimed that “hitler had the right idea” and “anyone got any gas canisters”.

His comments were condemed for being “de-humanisig” and “vile”.

Mr Murray responded by saying that he had been hacked and that the comments we’re false. He added that he was saddened that his “good name” had been tarnished and that he has talked to his solicitor and the police, by emphasizing that he would “categorically would not say things like that”.

North Wales Police are currently investigating the comments as “potential hate crimes” and the investigations cis currently undergoing.
